Hey! I’m Sam. A Registered Nurse and an AHA-certified hypnotist currently attending the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI). I came to this work because healthcare often misses what matters most.
After 13 years in healthcare, I began to notice a pattern. Patient after patient shared the same experience: they didn’t feel heard, treatments weren’t helping, and medications came with side effects that felt just as disruptive as the symptoms themselves.
It became clear that something essential was missing.
You see in Western Medicine We’re taught to divide people into parts this is a heart problem, this is a hormone problem, this is mental health as if the body, nervous system, emotions, and lived experience operate separately. They don’t. Our systems are deeply connected, constantly influencing one another, and shaped by stress, trauma, hormones, beliefs, and environment. When care ignores that, people are left managing symptoms instead of being understood.
My work is trauma-informed and rooted in whole-person care. I focus on how the nervous system, subconscious patterns, emotional experience, and physiology interact, rather than boxing people into diagnoses or treating one system in isolation. Hypnosis offers a way to work with these deeper patterns while keeping clients aware, present, and in control throughout the process.
You don’t need to be fixed. You are whole and complete just as you are.
Change doesn’t happen by force or overnight. It happens through awareness, safety, and choice.
I work with adults of all genders, and I hold a special focus on women navigating hormonally driven life transitions including PMS, PMDD, perimenopause, menopause, and the emotional and nervous-system shifts that often accompany them. Many women are told their symptoms are “just hormonal,” “just anxiety,” or something they need to push through. I believe those experiences deserve curiosity, compassion, and support …not dismissal.
Sessions are collaborative, grounded, and paced according to each individual. This work is not about control, suggestibility, or losing awareness. It’s about creating enough internal safety for the system to explore new options and respond differently over time.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, integrative approach that honors the complexity of your body, mind, and life experience, you’re welcome here.
